The first term in St.Gabriels N.S was super hectic for the Senior Classroom. We started in the deep end with our first project on extinct animals, we worked as a team to plan, design and present fact files on our favourite creatures. We had a little taste of Irish sign language and we held drama lessons outdoors when the sun was shining. We have a talented bunch of children in this classroom and they successfully took part in a hurling, camogie, football and rugby blitz all before Halloween. We opened our own caifé as Gaeilge. Bhí a lán bia blasta ann. We hosted a spooky scare walk and presented original spooky stories to the residents in Kilconnell Nursing home and so much more! What an exciting start to the year.
